Executive SENCo for the Federation

Antonia Jenkins-Yusuf
I am delighted to introduce myself as the new Executive SENCo for the BJS of schools. Although I am new to the role, I am not new to the federation or some of its families.
I joined Jessop Primary School in 2011 as a class teacher and over the years progressed into leadership.
With years of experience in inclusive education and leadership, I am passionate about ensuring that our children make progress from their starting point regardless of their background, promoting equity in the classroom and breaking down barriers to learning.
I have worked closely with colleagues across Bonneville, Jessop and Stockwell. I am looking forward to continuing those relationships in my new role and working in partnership with dedicated teachers, leadership teams, and external specialists to build robust, evidence-based support frameworks. By fostering a culture of high expectations and deep empathy, ensuring that our educational environments are truly inclusive, and celebrating the unique strengths of every individual learner across the federation.
A key part of my role is collaborating with you, our families and community. Open communication and strong partnerships are at the heart of successful SEND provision. I look forward to working together to empower our children, support our staff, and ensure that every child in our schools has the opportunity to achieve their full potential.
