On Thursday 23rd April 2015, KS2 enjoyed a live drumming masterclass delivered by Jeff Rich, former drummer of Status Quo. Our children learnt all about the history of drums and how they developed across the world playing and holding the drums as they learnt. Key highlights shared by the children were witnessing and being inspired by his skills and the finale being the year group freestyling session with the musician as a 250 piece percussion band.
